Pera Medikal was established on November
26, 1990, in Istanbul, in order to bring together Turkish healthcare providers
with new test markers and new devices emerging in the world. By this step, it
took product presentation of its sister company, Net Medikal distributing from
leading brands of that time locally, to an upper level. In
short time, it has achieved significant successes in Turkish IVD market. Pera
Medikal is the first company executing national neonatal screening project
under Turkish Public Health Institution in Turkey. It has accomplished this
with the products of Bioclone, which was a Hitachi company located in
Australia.It has brought the first fourth generation HCV test to Turkey through
its cooperation with Belgium Innogenetics and put into service of users. It has
brought Triturus system (Diagnostic Grifols) which was the first high quality
ELISA processor in the international market and installed over 100 units
shortly. With Innogenetics HCV test, Grifols Triturus and Biomerieux HBsAg and HIV
ELISA tests and Da Vinci ELISA system, it has executed Turkish Red Crescent
(TRC) blood screening project for long years. Pera Medikal still executes blood
typing, hepatitis confirmation and coagulation projects of Turkish Red Crescent
Society. Pera Medikal obtained ISO
certification in 2005 and changed its company type from Limited to Incorporated
Company in 2014, increasing its reliability in the eyes of its business
partners by moving to higher levels in the institutionalization process. Pera
Medikal has gained not only national but also international recognition through
its long years of working as a leading distributor company in Turkey. In the coming years, it will carry out its
health service in the best way achieving further successes.
